Crawley Town manager Scott Lindsey has shared his reaction to the FA Cup first-round draw against Notts County, which entails a challenging away fixture.

In the upcoming month of November, Crawley Town will be making two trips to Meadow Lane. The initial visit is scheduled for the weekend of November 3, representing their FA Cup clash, followed by a League Two encounter on November 28.

Crawley Town, under the leadership of Luke Williams, has displayed an impressive performance in League Two following their promotion from the National League and currently holds the second position.

Lindsey expressed his belief that Notts County is a formidable opponent at this level. He stated, “To further our improvement on the field, we need to compete against strong teams.

At this level, there are few teams better than Notts County. They are led by a talented manager in Luke, whom I know well, and their achievements thus far are remarkable.

Their style of play is quite similar to ours, and they possess a roster of talented players. I’m excited to analyze them as we prepare for the upcoming match.”

Crawley Town fans’ reactions to the draw are also of interest.

In addition, two other Sussex-based teams were in the draw. Horsham is set to face Barnsley in an away match, while Worthing will travel to Alfreton Town.
