Why Walsall loanee  attributes his career progress to Drogheda United…

Before joining Drogheda on loan during the second half of last season, Draper hadn’t played a single minute in League Two with Lincoln.

During his time with Drogheda, he managed to score eight goals. Walsall is now set to acquire a 100% stake in the Irish club.

The 19-year-old has had an impressive start with Walsall, recently achieving his first career hat-trick in a 3-3 draw at Newport. Draper expresses his gratitude to Drogheda for rejuvenating his career.

“It revitalized my career. The manager showed immense faith in me and continued to field me even when I wasn’t scoring,” Draper stated.

“I am immensely grateful to Drogheda. Their fans are exceptional, the setup is top-notch, and I am genuinely thrilled for them. They truly deserve Walsall’s ownership because they have the most dedicated supporters and are the best club in their division.”
