The unexpected alterations in Portsmouth’s recent selection against Cambridge United…

Portsmouth’s recent selection choices have introduced some unexpected alterations in their lineup against Cambridge United. John Mousinho, the head coach of the team, surprised everyone by making changes in the full-back positions.

Mousinho decided to refresh his squad, resulting in Joe Rafferty and the in-form Jack Sparkes stepping aside. Instead, at the Abbey Stadium tonight, Connor Ogilvie takes the left-back position, while Zak Swanson occupies the right-back spot, with the two outgoing players now being substitutes.

This marks one of three alterations to the team, following their narrow victory over Carlisle last Saturday. Tino Anjorin has also been replaced by Christian Saydee.

Unfortunately, Sean Raggett is not available for the 18-man squad due to illness, so Ryley Towler will take his place on the bench.

The starting lineup for Portsmouth now includes Norris, Swanson, Poole, Shaughnessy, Ogilvie, Morrell, Robertson, Lane, Saydee, Kamara, and Bishop.

The substitutes are Schofield, Towler, Sparkes, Anjorin, Stevenson, Rafferty, and Yengi.
