On-loan Walsall player give a fascinating verdict about a 19 year-old star amid recent performance…

Walsall’s loaned player, Freddie Draper, is being touted as a potential future star, as per the assessment of Ross Tierney.

In Walsall’s recent 4-1 victory over Gillingham, Freddie Draper found the net, taking his season’s goal count to five in League Two.

Currently, he shares the top scorer position at the club with Isaac Hutchinson, having notched four goals in his last six games.

Having shared living arrangements with the 19-year-old since his loan transfer from Motherwell in the summer, Tierney expresses confidence in Draper’s ability to forge a successful career.

“I spend time with Freddie on a daily basis, both on and off the pitch, and we have a great rapport,” Tierney remarked. “Despite his youth, he intimidates defenders and is a pleasure to play alongside. My role is to support Freddie with assists, and he delivers the goals.”

Tierney goes on to say, “If he remains injury-free, there’s a strong possibility that he can reach the highest echelons of the sport.”
