Ipswich manager is on the verge of a challenging competition with the chiefs of Sunderland, Cardiff, and Hull City.

Rosenior has recently earned his first nomination for the Championship’s Manager of the Month award due to his impressive performance in September.

During that month, Hull City remained unbeaten in all five of their games. They secured four points from clashes with the recently relegated Leicester City and Leeds United, in addition to a draw at home against last season’s playoff finalists, Coventry City.

Notably, they clinched a resounding 3-1 victory over Stoke City in front of a televised audience, marking their best start to a Championship season, and they moved up to fourth place in the league with nine points.

The month concluded with a 1-1 draw at home against League One champions Plymouth Argyle. Rosenior’s work has received recognition for these achievements, although he faces tough competition from fellow managers who accumulated more points during the month.

The nominees include Erol Bulut of Cardiff City, who managed to motivate his team to secure four consecutive wins, collecting 12 points, including a victory in a local derby against Swansea. Kieran McKenna of Ipswich Town not only built an attack-oriented team but also instilled the determination to make comebacks when trailing.

Their remarkable 3-2 win over Cardiff from a 2-0 deficit was a standout moment in their haul of 13 points from five unbeaten games.

Tony Mowbray of Sunderland has won the admiration of fans for overseeing an attacking young side that scored three or more goals in each of their four September wins, amassing 12 points from five games.

Liam Rosenior, the Hull City manager, has maintained the progress he initiated last season, focusing on defensive stability and swift ball possession. He guided Hull City through an undefeated month, securing nine points from five games, including a victory against league leaders Leicester.

Furthermore, the Player of the Month nominees for September include Finn Azaz from Plymouth, Jack Clarke from Sunderland, Liam Lindsay from Preston, and Stephy Mavadidi from Leicester.

The judging panel for the Sky Bet Manager of the Month award includes former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies. The winner will be announced on Friday morning.”
