Major League Baseball announced Monday that Hall of Famer Chipper Jones and former All-Star Marquis Grissom will serve as managers for the 2025 All-Star Futures Game, set to take place on July 12 at Atlanta’s Truist Park.

Jones, a Braves legend and eight-time All-Star, will manage the National League Futures team, while Grissom, a former Atlanta outfielder and two-time All-Star, will lead the American League squad. The annual showcase features top minor league prospects from all 30 MLB organizations, offering fans a glimpse at the game’s next generation of stars.

Jones, who spent his entire career with the Braves from 1993 to 2012, hit .303 with 468 home runs and 1,623 RBIs. He was a key part of the Braves’ 1995 World Series championship and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018 on his first ballot.

Grissom, a key contributor during Atlanta’s 1995 title run, played 17 seasons with six MLB teams, finishing with a .272 batting average, 227 home runs, and 967 RBIs.

Each manager will be backed by a star-studded coaching staff. Jones’ NL coaching lineup includes Mark DeRosa (bench), Andruw Jones (hitting), Tim Hudson (pitching), Tyler Flowers (first base), Kanekoa Texeira (third base), Nick Markakis (general coach), and Peter Moylan (bullpen).

Grissom’s AL staff features Jerry Manuel (bench), Fred McGriff (hitting), Marvin Freeman (pitching), Dale Murphy (first base), Brian Hunter (third base), Ryan Klesko (general), and Johnny Estrada (bullpen).

The Futures Game serves as a prelude to MLB’s All-Star festivities and is widely regarded as one of the premier stages for emerging talent
