Unprecedented Player Transfers Shake Up BGMI Community Ahead of BMPS 2023…

The commencement of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 has brought about a wave of unexpected player transfers within the BGMI community.

The community is taken aback by the significant roster changes made by well-known teams just ahead of the highly anticipated event, sparking concerns among fans about the potential impact on team performances.

Roster shuffles and transfers are commonplace in the esports scene, driven by factors such as past performance, team dynamics, and future objectives. As BMPS 2023 approaches, several prominent BGMI teams have announced noteworthy alterations to their rosters.

While some changes are permanent, the majority involve loaned players who are expected to revert to their original teams after the conclusion of BMPS 2023.

Some notable roster changes include the release of Jaideep “kyoyaa” Mankar from Medal Esports, who joins Big Brother Esports. Medal Esports has also acquired Sayyam “Sayyam” Ostwal and Sheehan “Zeno” Chouhan for BMPS 2023.

Orangutan, on the other hand, has released its entire roster, loaning players like Ashish “Ash,” Ankit “AKop” Shukla, Wizzgod, and coach Vedang “Vedzz” Chavan to Forest Apes, while Shubham “Driger” Quiriyal is loaned to OR Esports.

Team 8Bit has collaborated with CS Esports, forming a six-man roster for BMPS 2023, including players from the previous 8Bit lineup and the CS roster. Additionally, Marcos Gaming has parted ways with Sayyam and Dev “Spraygod” Malik, with Sayyam joining Medal Esports and Spraygod playing for Team X Spark.

OR Esports has undergone changes with the inclusion of Driger from Orangutan and Secret from Entity. Secret is set to be a stand-in for OR Esports in BMPS 2023, with plans to return after the event. Robin “Robin” Singh Shekhawat from Gods Reign replaces Gunjan “Jelly” Thakur as the In-Game Leader (IGL) for OR Esports.

One of the most surprising transfers involves Robin moving from Gods Reign to OR Esports, given the success the team achieved with him as the IGL, securing second place in the India vs Korea Invitational. The multitude of player transfers has left fans anxious about the performance of their favorite teams in the upcoming BMPS 2023 event. The question now lingers whether these teams can maintain their previous levels of performance amidst the extensive changes.
