QPR in battle with a championship rival and league one club for 28-year-old free agent…

Three football clubs, including Huddersfield Town and QPR from the Championship, are reportedly eyeing a potential move for Blackpool’s winger CJ Hamilton, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

Derby County, a League One rival, is also said to be interested in securing his services. The 28-year-old, who joined Blackpool in the summer of 2020, has been a consistent performer, particularly in the right wing-back position within Neil Critchley’s system.

With six assists and one goal in the current season, Hamilton is attracting attention as he approaches the final six months of his existing deal.

The report suggests that the three clubs are prepared to challenge Blackpool’s stance, with the option to either cash in on Hamilton now or hope for a contract extension.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Hamilton has been a key contributor to Blackpool’s attacking efforts, having made over 100 appearances for the club and securing promotion to the Championship in 2021.
