Walsall is set to take on another non-league opponent in the FA Cup’s second round.
They will meet Alfreton Town, a team from the National League North, at North Street.
This marks Walsall’s third consecutive appearance in the second round, earned with a 4-1 win against Sheppey United, an eighth-tier team at Holm Park on Friday night.
Alfreton secured their place in the second round by defeating Worthing 2-0, marking their first appearance in this stage since 2012.
This matchup between the two teams will be their first official encounter, and the game is scheduled for the weekend of December 2-3.
