Paul Mullin continues to shine as an unstoppable force for Wrexham, notching another impressive goal with a powerful header.
However, the late heroics of Adam Wilson salvaged a draw for Bradford City in their League Two encounter.
Wrexham had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Bradford City, despite Paul Mullin’s header, marking his third goal of the season, failing to secure all three points.
The Red Dragons seemed on track for a crucial away victory, but Adam Wilson, a 23-year-old with experience in Newcastle United’s academy, had other plans.
He skillfully navigated past a couple of defenders and unleashed a rocket into Arthur Okonkwo’s net in the 84th minute, rescuing a point that Bradford City could argue was well-deserved.
This turn of events was a bitter disappointment for Phil Parkinson’s team, who had taken the lead thanks to Paul Mullin’s goal in the 68th minute.
They were, however, fortunate to escape Valley Parade with a draw, given their near-miss with a comical own goal in stoppage time and a controversial penalty call they survived.
In this match, Paul Mullin, who had gone three games without scoring, will be relieved to have found the back of the net.

Credit for the goal goes to Ryan Barnett’s precise delivery, with the Wrexham winger, who joined the club in February 2023, lofting a perfect cross for Mullin to finish.
Barnett could have had two assists to his name, as Mullin squandered a golden opportunity in the first half when he headed Barnett’s pinpoint cross wide from close range. Ryan Barnett’s performance stood out, creating three chances, more than any other Wrexham player.
Referee Ross Joyce stands out as the unfortunate figure in the match. He issued one of the most peculiar yellow cards ever seen, mistakenly booking Wrexham’s James Jones for a challenge he didn’t commit.
Additionally, he may have missed a late penalty call for handball in the Wrexham box, as the ball clearly struck a Wrexham player’s arm. With no VAR available, the 21,552 spectators in attendance expressed their displeasure with these decisions.
