Nottingham Forest is considering making another attempt to sign Kerem Akturkoglu, the Turkish international and Galatasaray winger, after their initial bid was rejected. During the summer, Forest’s offer of €11 million (£9.5m) was deemed insufficient by the Turkish club.
Akturkoglu continues to attract attention, with several teams, including Forest, Aston Villa, West Ham, Brighton, and Everton, monitoring his performances for Turkey and Galatasaray. Tottenham has also shown interest and has begun discussions about a potential move in January. Akturkoglu has been in excellent form this season, tallying five goals and seven assists in 16 games across all competitions.
Previous reports indicated that Akturkoglu is open to the idea of playing in the English Premier League. If Nottingham Forest rekindles their interest in the upcoming year, they will face competition from numerous European clubs that are considering signing him. Akturkoglu’s current contract with Galatasaray extends until 2026, as he joined the club in 2020.
