Millwall, a Championship team, has decided to part ways with manager Gary Rowett. This mutual agreement marks the end of his tenure with the club. Rowett’s final game in charge was played before the international break, a 2-2 draw with Hull City. At the time of his departure, Millwall was positioned 15th in the Championship table, trailing the play-off spots by three points.

Millwall’s chairman, James Berylson, expressed his appreciation for Gary’s contributions during his time as manager and conveyed the best wishes of everyone associated with the club. He also noted that Rowett had elevated the club’s on-field performance during his four-year successful tenure.

Gary Rowett, who assumed leadership of the club in 2019 and oversaw a series of mid-table finishes in the second tier, expressed his gratitude to the fans for their support and the unique atmosphere they create.
