The negotiations between the club and Leicester City is taking a firm stance after several weeks…

Victor Kristiansen recently departed from Leicester for a loan stint at Bologna during the summer, and it appears that Serie A side is eager to revisit the terms of his agreement.

Initially, Leicester agreed to a one-year deal that included a €15 million buyout option when they allowed the fullback to move to the Italian club.

However, according to Corriere Dello Sport (as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb), Bologna is already seeking a reduction in that price.

They’ve been diligently working on this for some time, despite recognizing the odds are not in their favor. Bologna’s best chance for a discount seems to hinge on whether Leicester City fails to secure promotion back to the Premier League for the following season.

Another year in the Championship might make the Foxes more inclined to offer a reduced price, but it’s still quite early for the Italian club to make such a request, given the uncertainty surrounding Leicester’s situation next summer.

This effort to renegotiate the deal underscores the positive impression Victor Kristiansen has made with his initial five appearances for Bologna.
