Tottenham Latest  Injury Update On Six Outstanding Players…

Tottenham is eagerly awaiting updates on the status of their injured players this week, hoping for positive news regarding their return to action.

Brennan Johnson’s fitness is a concern after he missed the thrilling victory over Liverpool, joining several teammates on the sidelines.

There is optimism that he might make a comeback against Luton over the weekend, as his recent absence was downplayed by manager Ange Postecoglou.

Johnson sustained a hamstring injury that forced him to exit a game against Arsenal an hour into it, although it’s not considered a severe setback.

Rodrigo Bentancur is a long-term absentee dealing with a serious knee issue, and Tottenham is taking a cautious approach to his return. While there has been some hype about his potential comeback, the club is not rushing his recovery. As of now, Bentancur is limited to warm-up exercises with the team and has not engaged in substantial training. November is the targeted return month for him.

Bryan Gil, who missed the start of the season due to a groin injury requiring surgery, is reportedly close to returning to action. The Spanish winger has resumed training and should soon be available for selection.

Ivan Perisic, on the other hand, is facing a lengthy absence after undergoing surgery for an ACL injury. The Croatian was seen using crutches after the procedure and is expected to undergo a recovery period of approximately six months.

Ryan Sessegnon, recovering from a hamstring issue, has taken a positive step by resuming light training. Although he is still a few weeks away from returning to the playing squad, his return will be eagerly anticipated, especially in light of Perisic’s absence.

Giovani Lo Celso, who was excluded from the Argentina national squad due to a hamstring injury, has been sidelined for over a month. Reports suggest that he will remain out of action for at least a couple more weeks.
