Victor Osimhen’s agent has issued a warning of potential legal action against Napoli, in response to a video posted on the club’s official TikTok profile that ridiculed the striker, exacerbating the existing tension between them.
The striker had already been under strain following a public incident in which he was captured berating coach Rudi Garcia after being substituted in the final moments of a 0-0 Serie A match against Bologna.
Initially, it appeared that the situation was diffusing after Osimhen apologized to Garcia. However, agent Roberto Calenda released an extraordinary statement in the evening, stating, “The content featured today on Napoli’s official TikTok profile is wholly unacceptable.
The video, which mocked Victor, was initially made public and was only removed belatedly. This serious incident has caused significant harm to the player and compounds the mistreatment he has endured recently through media scrutiny and false reports.”
Napoli’s admin on TikTok trolling Victor Osimhen? Or what's this nonsense for your own player?

“We are reserving the right to pursue legal action and any necessary measures to safeguard Victor.”
The video in question depicted Osimhen appealing for a penalty in a peculiar, sped-up voice, followed by his insistence on taking the penalty before ultimately missing the target.
Taking legal action against a club over a social media post is an exceedingly rare move by a player and their agent.

It is also worth noting that, despite months of negotiations, Osimhen has not yet signed a new contract, and his current deal remains in effect until June 2025.
